Review Of JJRC Hexcopter
Putting the Props on Correctly
I wanted to point out the correct way of putting props back on the JJRC H20 should you need to take them off to replace or clear hair from the spline shaft
There are three clockwise(cw) three anti clockwise(ccw) props.Put the hexcopter with front facing away from you. So the left front prop is clockwise, right front is ccw, right middle is cw and the back left one is cw and the left middle motor is ccw. The thicker part of the prop faces into the wind.
Below is a image that shows the correct numbers on the props to the correct motors to attach to, if you put the wrong props on the incorrect motors she will not take off.

Charging And Battery Tips
The battery on the JJRC-H20 has reversed polarity compared to some other small nano quads so be careful getting extra batteries, the wrong one can cause damage to circuit board and supplied usb cable might fry battery if not correct polarity, always check. Banggood has correct replacement batteries tap here.
The battery supplied is 3.7V 150mah Battery again be careful of upgrades as mentioned above.
The charging cable provided is a yellow USB connection and takes around 30 minutes to charge. Please allow 10-15 minute cool down before recharging if not battery will not last, hence I have four extra batteries. I get around 5 minutes fly time indoors and a little less outside as flat out flying. You will need 3 x AAA batteries for remote, they are not supplied.
Using the Remote
The remote offers three stages of flying.First is low when you first switch on hex and then remote, and is great for a beginner. The next is medium which has great yaw movements and good pitch, I use this mode most times flying. The last is really high mode and totally mad flying, spins really fast not for a beginner.
Pros And Cons Of The JJRC H20
- Out of the box around 35m of range control:There are mods which will show later
- Lights a bit hard to see in daylight outside
- Battery connection is a fiddle as jst fittings, but really this is a small hex
- Remote (tx) has small thumb controls, looking at mods on that.
- Headless mode really basic, works.
- Return to home works, but watch out which way hex facing can get away from you.
- Really these nano quads are fun, but feel flying really is safer and better indoors.
- Would I buy the JJRC H20…Yes heaps of fun and takes amazing crashes unscathed.
- As the battery on the drone can be removed, to me a great benefit as you can buy extra batteries charge them up and keep flying.
Buying options are three as far as I am concerned
