Now lets get to the fun part of this review of the H37.

When you start looking at Selfie drones such as the ZeroTech Dobby you see how expensive they can be the same for the Yuneec and the Dji probably the best on the market but at around $900 is out of the equation for most of us.

Enter the JJRC H37 at a price most of us can afford at around $30 USA.This great drone is around 135 x 65 x 26mm in size, so with the ability to fold the arms into the quad you can put in your pocket.

With flying arms unfolded for the H37

At this point a video might help. I will put a separate post on more videos.

Now as said have created a video page for the Elfie H37 Here

Because this has foldable flying arms the motors are orientated horizontal and not vertically as on other drones. In case the motors might fail you can easily replace the entire flying arm. Spare Here

The front of the drone has a tiny camera that is adjustable to be able to get the best view you desire.

The on and off button is on the top of the drone.and just needs one press to start up

Flying at night is cool as has some really strong led lights.Front shows White, rear shows red lights.

H37-flying -led-lights

The camera is 480p (0.3MP) you can capture videos and photos with around 720 x 576 pixels, which is recorded to the App on your phone. Will explain more about the App below. So which is cool you do not need a SD Card, all files go to your smart phone. To find the files they get stored on the JJRC folder in the H264 file.

The video can show on your mobile and tablet. The video quality is really not bad at all…

NO Remote Supplied

This drone can only fly via your mobile phone or tablet, which gives it the flexibility to put in your pocket or handbag, as we always have our mobile phone with us this makes this drone a traveling selfie friend.

This drone has a neat camera that you can tilt around 16 degrees, which means good for selfie videos. Flying at night you will be able to see by two white LEDs in front and two red ones in the rear.

The JJRC H37 does not need a micro SD memory card because the captured videos and photos are stored on your smartphone’s internal memory.

The flight direction of the drone can be controlled with the right virtual stick or through the smartphone’s internal gyro-sensor by tilting the phone. As videos in training page shows.

To finish flying you only need to press the down arrow on the phone app, the drone will land and motors will turn off in a few seconds.

As video shows above for the initial flight you need to download the App called JJRC from App store or scan barcode from instructions in the box received with drone. You then need to power up drone H37 and go to settings on your phone and look for the Wi-Fi network called “JJRC -526E61 after that go to App and open, you should see camera working, to power up the motors tap the up arrow.

More Tips

You can decide to control this drone in two ways, using virtual sticks or through gravity sensor.

Battery Charging

Well what you need to do is use the USB supplied to charge either from your computer or wall jack. The usb will light red and goes out when charged, around 40 minutes depending on how you have drained the battery always wait 15 minutes before recharging, as saves battery, hence a good idea to buy more batteries HERE

For beginners and flying inside set the rate of speed to 30% because at 100% the drone is a hell lot faster and pretty agile and takes a lot more to control.I n case of a crash or lost control hit the stop button on the App, bear in mind if high up will stop the motors and fall out of the sky.

Once charged plug the lipo under drone in the apartment, first time was stiff to open the door but got easier after a few times, attach battery to the connection to quad, bit of a fiddle as I have fat fingers lol. Press the power button on top of the drone,.this will cause the lights on the H37 Drone to flash at a fast rate. Will stop flashing when binded to your smartphone.

To flip the H37

On the App shown video above there is like a circle button, tap it(turns yellow) then push the right stick in which ever way you want her to flip, make sure you have some height tho as she losses altitude coming out of the flip, especially when doing back or front flips.

Would I buy the JJRC-H37 yes just for the fact easy to carry around and fly when you can, the only let down was the image quality is only 720×756 25fps, however we are only paying small dollars for her.
